As part of this adjustment, filing, examination, and renewal fees in particular have been increased. The average increase amounts to approximately 5\u201310%, depending on the type of fee. The aim of this adjustment is to ensure the long-term financial stability of the EPO and to cover rising operating and digitalization costs. In addition, it is intended to maintain the high quality of procedures and services.
