The law firm was founded in 1965 by Dr.-Ing. Klaus Durm. His son Frank Durm practiced for some years in a major international patent law firm in Munich before joining his father's firm to become DURM & DURM.
In 2006 the firm merged with the existing patent law firm of Dr. Hans-Peter Pfeifer to become DURM & PARTNER, a partnership according to the German Partnerschaftsgesetz. In the following year Dr.-Ing. Markus Petirsch became a partner of our firm.
Our business relationship with the major part of our clients exists continuously since many years, in some cases even decades.
